This position will be located at the Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex, 505 W. Felix St. Fort Worth, TX 76115. This role will lead initiatives primarily in the areas of Budget, Grants, Human Resources (HR), and Capital Projects. A strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to work with both civilian and civil service personnel are essential. This position requires the capacity to work independently and in a team environment, while building effective working relationships across departments. The Administrative Services Manager reports directly to the Assistant Fire Director and oversees a team of 7-9 employees responsible for daily administrative functions. The Administrative Services Manager job responsibilities include: Management of a $300 million combined Fire and Emergency Management Services (EMS) budget, focusing on budget development, monthly forecasting, revenue, invoicing. Oversee specific programs such as special donations, deployments, LEOSE (Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education funds), and Suburban Dispatching. Serves as Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) supporting HR functions such as, hiring, onboarding, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Workers’ Compensation compliance, and leave tracking.
