Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. What You’ll Do Create graphical user interfaces that meet military standards (MIL-STD-1472), translating complex requirements into elegant, user-centered design solutions that are safe and effective Work with software development teams, systems engineers, and stakeholders to improve designs and systems based on usability principles Interview subject matter experts and users; produce personas, workflows/journey maps, and other artifacts to inform design decisions Use interface prototyping tools to create low- to high-fidelity wireframes and clickable prototypes across all design phases Apply expertise in usability and interaction design principles across all aspects of visual and interface design Defend design decisions with compelling, research-based rationale and present findings through engaging reports and stakeholder presentations Design development-ready icons and gra
