POSITION SUMMARY Role: AI driven (Senior) Backend Developer Python Focus: Building and scaling high-quality backend services that power AI models and digital pathology tools. Establishing AI-agentic development workflows. Team: You’ll be part of the development team, working closely with machine learning, product, and front-end colleagues. You will report directly to our VP Engineering. Digital pathology comes with unique technical challenges: whole-slide images with file sizes of several gigabytes and resolutions up to 100,000 x 100,000 pixels. You’ll help design and implement solutions such as efficient image streaming via an advanced image server, ensuring that our AI models can be served reliably to pathologists, labs, and partners worldwide. In this role, you will play a key part in building up Mindpeak’s AI agentic development knowledge, tooling, and workflows.
