About the Role We’re hiring an AI Solutions Architect to lead the future of IT systems and automation at Fortis. This senior-level role focuses on improving how our internal tech works — using AI, automation, and innovative design to make everything more secure, scalable, and efficient. You’ll lead the design of our IT tools and platforms, ensuring they’re modern, user-friendly, and powered by cutting-edge AI like LLMs (think ChatGPT, Gemini, and similar tools). This role reports to the Director of IT. It works closely with Security, Legal, Engineering, and other departments to ensure our IT systems are robust, safe, compliant, and built to scale. This isn’t just an execution or admin role — it’s a leadership position for someone who can research, propose, and help drive future-focused IT strategies across the business.
