Responsible for ensuring products are suitable and abiding by the standards and regulations for the fire suppression market in all regions where Amerex products are sold. Responsibilities Work cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Compliance, Quality, Product Management, Procurement, and Product Development to resolve Compliance issues and Customer requests. Perform research to understand, learn, and know requirements for product compliance for fire suppression products. Work with regulatory agencies such as: UL, FM, etc. for product approvals/compliance and associated listings. Create technical documents and instruction literature as needed. Review and approve product design changes for adherence to Compliance standards. Schedule and support audits and site visits by regulatory agencies. Provide certification documentation to Amerex Sales team and customers as requested. Ability to handle a dynamic workload: from multi-tasking to very focused detail-oriented work during critical projects. Willingness to work and assist with other engineering team projects as needed. Bachelor of Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Materials, or Fire Protection Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited university. Excelle
