SUMMARY Responsible for advising Alliant's employee benefits business group on a broad range of legal issues and reviewing a variety of contracts and other forms, in addition to other licensing and legal matters. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews, drafts, and negotiates a variety of agreements, including master services agreements, vendor agreements, independent contractor agreements, data privacy agreements, confidentiality agreements, referral agreements, business associate agreements, and other commercial transactional agreements. Provides business-centric and practical advice on legal issues and risks to stakeholders and leadership. Collaborates with business units to understand key commercial requirements in contracts and legal projects. Builds business relationships with, and gains the trust of, internal clients and stakeholders. Partners with cross-functional corporate teams, including IT, risk management, accounting, sales, operations, marketing, and human resources, on contract review, legal compliance, and company policies. Advises Alliant corporate departments and business groups on privacy and security laws and regulations and related industry standards that impact Alliant, including coor
