Associate Director, Medical Writer - Publications

General Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded Medical Writer to lead the tactical execution of publications stemming from our global medical affairs publication plans. These plans span across early phase development to marketed products. In this role, the Medical Writer will serve as a key partner in shaping the external scientific narrative, as well as ensuring data are communicated with clarity, accuracy, and impact through high-quality publications and congress materials. This is an individual contributor, remote position. Essential Functions of the Job: Demonstrated ability to develop strategic, high-impact scientific publications and congress materials in oncology Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external experts in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting Expert knowledge of, and adherence to, GPP, ICMJE guidelines, and global compliance standards in medical publications Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple concurrent projects and regions Adhere to industry-standard guidelines as well as BeOne SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal colleagues, external authors, journal editors, publishers, and other professional bodies Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MS) in life sciences or related field; oncology specialization strongly preferred Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant medical writing experience, with a strong emphasis on global publication planning and congress communications, gained through working within the biotechnolog
