Requirements 15–19 years of overall experience in data management, data governance, or related disciplines, with a proven track record of building governance functions from the ground up. Deep expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, processes, roles, and accountabilities. Strong experience in selecting, deploying, and driving adoption of Data Catalog tools, with hands-on knowledge of data profiling, lineage, cataloging, and classification techniques. Demonstrated ability to document current Data Architecture and integrate data from disparate sources to create a unified, reliable view for business decision-making. Solid understanding of data quality management, including establishing metrics, monitoring processes, and remediation strategies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability. Proven experience in defining business glossaries, linking metrics to data assets, and establishing complete data lineage across complex systems. Strong knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements, with the ability to embed these into governance practices. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of data governance to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Experience in creating and leading a network of domain data stewards, with the ability to assign ownership and drive accountability for data-related issues. Ability to develop and deliver training programs and awareness sessions
