As our new entry level Staff Engineer your key tasks and responsibilities will be: · Prepares basic designs and performs calculations in support of projects of routine to average complexity. · Analyzes survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, geologic data, and other data to plan projects of routine to average complexity. Makes deductions from analyses as required to create design deliverables for review by a senior engineer. · Develops work products that align with client standards. · Consistently utilizes sound judgment and discretion in performance of tasks. · Gathers and records information to be used for writing specifications. · Reviews vendor submittals and drawings to assure compliance with specifications. · Prepares and presents routine technical reports. · Develop a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards. · Visits job sites to gain field experience, broaden background, and develop practical engineering skills.
