Associate Staff Engineer (RPG/IBM DB2)

Requirements Experience : 4+ years Strong hands-on experience in RPG development, including RPG III, RPG IV, and RPGLE. Extensive experience developing and maintaining applications on the IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) platform. Strong expertise in IBM DB2 and SQL for application development, data manipulation, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with IBM MQ for messaging and application integration. Experience working with IBM i development tools, programming standards, and enterprise application environments. Good understanding of application integration concepts and experience integrating IBM i applications with distributed systems. Experience with ETL processes and data integration is an added advantage. Exposure to Java-based application integration is desirable. Knowledge of XMS (Extended Messaging Service) or similar messaging technologies is an added advantage. Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical and business teams. Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications on the IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) platform using RPG. Develop and maintain RPG III, RPG IV, and RPGLE programs based on business and technical requirements.
