Azure DevOps Engineer (Temporary Contract)

About You You are an Azure DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, provisioning, and managing cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. You enjoy automating infrastructure, building reliable CI/CD pipelines, and improving cloud operations through Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges while contributing to high-performing engineering teams. Note: This is a temporary 6-month contractor opportunity . You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI/CD automation. Experience provisioning Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM Templates. Proficiency with Azure CLI for infrastructure management and troubleshooting. Experience with GitHub Actions in Azure environments. Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Experience with Azure Functions and other Azure-native services. Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Azure Monitor, and Azure Policy. Strong understanding of Azure security best practices and DevOps automation. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and infrastructure management skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams. Advanced English proficiency.
