Backend Developer

Listed as a remote role based in Bratislava, Bratislava, Slovakia. We are looking for an experienced backend developer who can handle complex challenges and enjoys taking responsibility for the entire solution. Diverse projects await you – from websites and mobile applications to information systems. If you have 5+ years of experience and expertise with Supabase, you are our person. We expect you to be independent, responsible, and able to quickly orient yourself in new projects. You should have at least 5 years of experience in backend development, solid knowledge of modern technologies, and a drive to find effective solutions even for complex challenges. Experience with Supabase is a major advantage, and we welcome a positive attitude toward team collaboration. Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development across various projects. Ability to set up infrastructure for an entire project (web, mobile app, complex system). Excellent knowledge of Node.js. Experience with Docker and containerization. Experience with database management (SQL). Knowledge of Supabase. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database. Working with email services (Sendgrid, Resend, etc.). Experience with both REST API and GraphQL. Proficiency with GIT and code versioning. Analytical thinking, independence, and the ability to take responsibility. English at least at the level of reading and writing documentation. / What will your job responsibilities be? Your Job Responsibilities Designing and implementing backend solutions for web and mobile applications. Setting up and managing infrastructure (Docker, cloud hosting, databases). Working with databases (modeling, optimization, integrations). Integrating third-party services (email services, payment gateways, external APIs). Collaborating with the frontend and design teams. Maintaining, optimizing, and scaling existing solutions.
