THE OPPORTUNITY We are hiring a Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the core services and infrastructure behind the Tradeify ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working deep in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput APIs — and who takes ownership of reliability and performance at scale. You will work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to deliver robust backend systems that directly power the experience of traders globally. This is a hands-on role based out of our Boca Raton, FL office. WHAT YOU WILL DO API & SERVICE DEVELOPMENT - Design and build performant, scalable REST APIs and WebSocket services - Develop and maintain backend microservices using Python, Node.js, Go, or C# - Own features end-to-end from schema design through deployment and monitoring - Build integrations with third-party trading platforms, market data providers, and internal tools DATA & INFRASTRUCTURE - Design and optimize relational and NoSQL data models across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB - Build and maintain event-driven pipelines and message queue systems - Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployments - Manage caching strategies, background job processing, and async workflows RELIABILITY & ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE - Ensure system reliability, security, and performance across all environments - Implement observability — logg
