Backend Java/Spring Boot Developer (Camunda 8)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Backend Java/Spring Boot Developer with Camunda 8 to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions while implementing and optimizing business processes using Camunda 8 . You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot . Design and implement business workflows using Camunda 8 BPMN . Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs. Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to software architecture decisions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality. Participate actively in code reviews, quality assurance initiatives, and Agile ceremonies. Refine user stories and technical requirements with the development team. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Work with partner technology teams to ensure seamless integration across systems. Mentor and coach junior developers. Support software releases while ensuring quality, scope, and delivery expectations are met. Prepare technical documentation and present new features, components, and technical solutions. Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Java Spring Boot Developer with Camunda 8 . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence . English proficiency at C1 level or above (written and spoken).
