Position Summary The Billing Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s revenue and billing operations through accurate invoice preparation, financial analysis, account reconciliation, reporting, and audit support. Under the general direction of the Billing Manager, this role ensures customer invoices are prepared in accordance with contractual agreements and organizational policies while maintaining the integrity of billing and revenue data. The Billing Analyst collaborates closely with Business Operations, Accounts Receivable, Sales, Contracting, Fleet Operations, Logistics, and Accounting teams to resolve billing issues, research account discrepancies, and support month-end close activities. The position also plays a key role in revenue-related audits, transaction sampling, and system testing initiatives associated with billing and invoicing processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Billing & Revenue Management Prepare and process customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and billing schedules. Review billing information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies. Interpret customer contracts and related documentation to ensure proper invoicing and revenue recognition. Financial Analysis & Reconciliation Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and billing-related ledgers. Perform account research and investigate billing discrepancies, variances, and customer inquiries. Prepare reconciliations and reports to ensure accuracy and integrity of billing and revenue data.
