This position reports to: Segment Director, Food & Beverage __ Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role you will be responsible for business development and new business growth for ABB Drives division with activities to include brand and product acceptance, coordination/partnership with Channel Sales, Channel Programs and our OEM Team, leading sub-segment strategy execution and defining go-to market approaches in Motion Drive Products in the United States. This role is supporting ABB ’s Motion Drive Products Division in New Berlin, WI. The work model for this role is remote in either Texas or Oklahoma with up to 70% travel across the United States. Your role and responsibilities: Generate new business growth through brand and product acceptance, inclusion of ABB Drives on end customer AVL (authorized vendor lists) and FA (Frame agreements) at associated Chemical Oil and Gas upstream (non-artificial lift) and downstream end users (refineries, petrochemical, gas processing plants), original equipment manufacturers (in partnership with our OEM team), integrators, contractors and engineering procurement construction (EPC) companies. Close partnership/coordination with Channel Sales, Channel Program and OEM Team peers to create and support Chemical Oil and Gas upstream (non-artificial lift) and downstream segment industry programs facilitating strategic engagement and new business growth with aligned Channel Partners. Documenting customer stakeholders, buying behaviors (local authority vs. CAPEX/Project approval process), corporate initiatives (respective areas of focus within their business regarding applications), understanding of incumbent brand preferences as the specific value pertains to their organization and identify customer
