Clinical Business Analyst (Inpatient Medicine Documentation) We are seeking a Clinical Business Analyst to support a provincial clinical information system transformation initiative. This role focuses on standardizing clinical documentation practices and workflows across the healthcare system. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on how clinical information systems and digitization impact the design of documentation processes, workflows, and procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, facilitating engagement sessions with clinical stakeholders, conducting gap analysis, and designing new standards to be adopted across the province. The candidate will contribute to the seamless adoption of new clinical documentation standards and collaborate with project teams to ensure effective implementation and stakeholder communication. The role involves working closely with clinical teams, subject matter experts, and healthcare stakeholders to develop standard order sets, documentation templates, and workflows used by physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other regulated health professionals. The candidate will conduct detailed business and system requirements analysis, complete current state and future state workflow design, build and validate clinical content in the system, and create comprehensive process and solution documentation including workflows, use cases, user guides, and training materials. This position combines steady state and project-based efforts, with some after-hours and weekend work possible as needed with advance approval.
