Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires: Cloud Migration Engineer Basic Qualifications: ▪ Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline. ▪ Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on engineering experience supporting infrastructure, applications, cloud environments, or enterprise migration initiatives in collaborative team-based environments. ▪ Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including compute, storage, networking, identity, security, and monitoring services. ▪ Programming & Automation: Professional proficiency in Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell, or similar programming/scripting languages. Ability to develop automation tools and scripts to improve migration efficiency and repeatability. ▪ Operating Systems: Strong Unix/Linux fundamentals with the ability to troubleshoot application, deployment, infrastructure, environment, networking, and runtime issues. ▪ Containers & Modern Platforms: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployments, including troubleshooting, scaling, configuration management, and operational support. ▪ Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with automation and provisioning tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep templates, Ansible, or equivalent technologies. ▪ Methodology: Strong understanding of SDLC practices, Agile methodologies, CI/CD delivery models, change management processes, release management, and production deployment procedures. ▪ Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of enterprise networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, private connectivity, and hybrid cloud architectures.
