Join our City Insurance program as a Commercial Lines Renewal Underwriter specializing in Multi-Family, Landlord, Apartment, and Condo insurance for small urban and mixed-use properties. You will be responsible for account pipeline management, risk selection, qualification, and pricing within the program guidelines and objectives, and selling the proposal to insurance brokers. You'll communicate and negotiate directly with brokers and carriers. This encompasses tasks such as ensuring accurate underwriting information, determining eligibility, maintaining well-documented insurance files, addressing questions, resolving issues, and servicing change requests. RESPONSIBILITIES Handle renewal accounts through outbound interaction with various carriers and brokers. Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal sales staff on new business submissions. Underwrite habitational risks by identifying and analyzing risk exposures, loss frequency and severity against desired coverage. Develop relationships with both external and internal customers, with the "customer experience" in mind, and deliver exceptional experiences with every interaction, in all modes of communication.
