Compliance Business Support Specialist

The Compliance Business Support Specialist serves as the lead of the Compliance Department. This role is responsible for reviewing and resolving escalated compliance matters, supporting compliance reporting and monitoring, identifying potential compliance risks, and helping ensure business practices and customer interactions are handled accurately and consistently. The Compliance Lead serves as an escalation point for Compliance Representatives and is expected to exercise sound independent judgment when evaluating situations that may present regulatory, legal, or policy concerns. This individual should have a strong compliance mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the willingness to investigate an issue or seek additional guidance when the correct answer is not immediately clear. Hourly Rate: $30-$35/hr Schedule:Monday-Friday Responsibilities: Compliance Review & Escalations Serve as the primary escalation point for Compliance Representatives. Research compliance questions and provide findings or recommendations to leadership. Escalate high-risk, unusual, or unclear compliance matters as appropriate. Ensure compliance decisions and actions are accurately documented. Training & Procedures Train and support new and existing Compliance Representatives. Develop and maintain compliance SOPs, procedures, training materials, and internal reference documentation. Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to Compliance Representatives. Compliance Department Support Assist the Compliance Department Head with compliance reviews, research, projects, and other department needs. Assist with recurring and ad hoc compliance reporting.
