The Work Your primary focus will be to ensure the system’s security and compliance with departmental policies and government regulations by coordinating with multiple stakeholder offices and contract teams, both internal to the department and across the government. You will be expected to support data calls, audits, and taskers related to the system’s security posture, leveraging your expertise in MOUs, ISAs, NIST security controls, and the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process. As a member of the system cybersecurity team, you will provide governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) support for a complex federal information system. You will regularly engage with and collaborate with clients, external teams, and vendors throughout the department to ensure the system remains compliant with all federal and agency requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate cybersecurity compliance activities across internal offices and external government stakeholders • Support data calls, audits, reviews, and departmental taskers related to cybersecurity posture • Apply expertise in MOUs, ISAs, NIST security controls, and A&A documentation • Support system accreditation activities and maintain ATO status
