AI/Data Engineer | Pre-Seed AI Startup (Munich) We're hiring on behalf of a Munich-based pre-seed AI startup backed by the investors behind UiPath, founded by engineers who were building AI agents before it was obvious. The Role You'll own the data layer that powers autonomous AI agents reasoning over real organisational data at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role sitting at the intersection of data engineering and applied ML . What you'll be doing: Building and owning data pipelines for LLM use cases end-to-end Taking ownership of the process mining pipeline and how data flows through it Transforming unstructured organisational data into structured formats agents can reason over Driving data annotation, fine-tuning workflows, and evaluation loops to continuously improve model performance Measuring and assessing AI system quality and building self-improvement loops What We're Looking For 2+ years professional engineering experience shipping production code Hands-on experience building data pipelines for LLM or ML use cases Strong understanding of data annotation, fine-tuning, and how to leverage data to improve LLM products Experience with RAG, GraphRAG, or vector databases is a strong plus People who are prepared to go on a journey in a start up and build the company from the ground up Why This Is Different Pre-seed backed by investors behind UiPath Strong early customer traction with measurable ROI Very strong equity and cash compensation Up to a quarter per year spent in the US In-person in Munich, small team, fast decisions, real ownership Who Thrives Here You've gone beyond traditional data engineering and are building the infrastructure that makes LLM products work in production.
