Love turning messy data into clear answers? We're looking for a Data Analyst who's excited to dig into complex insurance data, ask good questions, and use modern AI tools to get to insights faster than anyone thought possible. This isn't a role for someone who just wants to run the same report every month. We want someone early in their career who is genuinely curious about how an insurance business works end-to-end - claims, policies, pricing, customer behavior - and who's motivated to master that complexity, supported by the AI tools and platforms we already provide. About the Role: As a Data Analyst in our Business Intelligence and Data & Analytics team, you will analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients. You'll build data models, apply statistical techniques, and help implement analytics solutions that support real business decisions - working closely with cross-functional teams to keep our data accurate, trustworthy, and useful. What You'll Do: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making. Prepare reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Build reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators. Identify trends and recommend strategies to improve business performance. Build and monitor predictive models to optimize pricing and promotional decisions. Help enhance customer segmentation and targeted marketing campaigns. Understand user behavior and turn insights into product design and optimization input. Proactively gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights. Monitor internal and external trends and spot gaps and improvement opportunities in business processes. Contribute to streamlining and automating processes as part of our digital transformation initiatives. Take part in special projects, and in Group-wide or intercompany initiatives as needed. What We're Looking For: Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data modelling, or reporting - recent graduates with strong project or internship experience are very welcome to apply. Some exposure to programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and quantitative thinking, with genuine curiosity about the 'why' behind the numbers. Working knowledge of SQL/Python, Power BI, and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters). Comfortable - or eager to become comfortable - using AI tools to accelerate analysis and problem-solving. Good communication and presentation skills; able to explain data findings clearly to non-technical audiences. Excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated, able to work independently and remotely. Fluent English, written and spoken. What We Offer: The chance to work with real insurance data and modern AI-powered analytics tools from day one. A supportive team that will help you grow from curious analyst to trusted data expert. Exposure to cross-market projects across our regional business. A flexible, remote-friendly way of working. Ongoing learning opportunities and room to shape your own development path. Ready to turn curiosity into insight? If you're an early-career analyst who loves solving puzzles, isn't afraid of complex data, and wants to grow using the best AI tools available - we'd love to hear from you. Apply now to join our Data & Analytics team in Sofia. At UNIQA, we live diversity. We recognize and foster the value of different perspectives in our teams and leadership positions. Therefore, we welcome applications that enrich our diversity.
