Overview The Data Engineer will act as the lead Technical Analyst for our clients in support of their implementations, will gather functional and data mapping requirements in support of their initiatives, will provide technical project oversight, and will be responsible for mapping and loading data from legacy systems to new system database. Roles And Responsibilities A stand-up with your team to review product specifications, requirements and progress Data migrations from client’s legacy database to their new system’s database SQL Scripting T-SQL scripts Deduplication of client’s data Assisting the data warehouse team with writing schema changes and other database design work, geared for scalability and performance. Researching and troubleshooting data inaccuracies and creating plans to fix them Work with clients and Business Analyst to review Data Migration Requirements Data Analysis Championing a data-driven culture across the enterprise developing methods and controls to ensure consistent application and use of data Qualifications 3+ years proven experience writing complex SQL queries Demonstrated working knowledge of relational database concepts 2+ years proven experience with Python (creating and maintaining data pipelines) 2+ years of extensive hands-on experience with designing, developing, and ongoing support of data warehouse environments Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
