Data Engineer (Mid-Sen Level) - Fully Remote

SOFTGAMES is looking for a Data Engineer (Mid-Sen Level) - Fully Remote to help build and optimize our data infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for our data analysts and business teams. You'll play a vital part in ensuring we have the data to be able to make critical decisions for our games that reach tens of millions of players each month, pretty exciting! For this position, the candidate must be based in a time-zone with a 4 hours overlap with Berlin, Germany. Your role: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Airflow Support data analysts by ensuring they have clean, structured, and well-documented data Manage and optimize Tableau dashboards, ensuring seamless data exports and reporting Develop ETL workflows and data integrations using Python Monitor data quality, optimize performance and cost efficiency Take responsibility for the smooth operation and reliability of the data platform Work with cloud-based data solutions (AWS) Your profile: 3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering Strong skills in Databricks/Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Python and Apache Flowform Experience with SQL and cloud-based data platforms Familiarity with Tableau and managing data exports for reporting Proficiency in conceptualizing and designing data platforms tailored to business needs Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first environment Experience in the Games Industry Benefits: SOFTGAMES offers a competitive package, including: Remote-first, your way — Work fully remote from wherever you do your best work, or drop into our modern Berlin office whenever you like.
