Data Engineer - Sr BI Engineer (ThoughtSpot)

POSITION OBJECTIVE: As a Senior BI Engineer, you will build and scale data models, pipelines, and self-service analytics across the organization, as well as high-load database solutions for various business use cases, including reporting, product analytics, marketing optimization, and financial reporting. You will focus on developing a reliable aggregation layer and reporting framework that meets growing business needs, enabling teams to independently access and analyze data. You will contribute as part of a self-organized team of experienced data engineers, working in a challenging and innovative environment for our client, creating the foundation for decision-making in a company that handles billions of events per day. You will investigate, design, and implement solutions to existing technical challenges. You will provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to a development team in order to achieve project goals. MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze the scope of alternative solutions and make implementation decisions within your domain based on experience and technical knowledge. Lead the functional and architectural design of assigned areas. Ensure that project design decisions meet architectural and design requirements.
