Omnicell is building its enterprise data governance program and we are looking for a Manager, Data Governance to join our Legal Department and help define how data is managed, trusted, and used across the company. You will develop the standards and policies that govern how data is managed across its lifecycle, establish a data use program with clear quality standards, and design a de-identification program that complies with HIPAA requirements to enable responsible analytics and research. This role turns governance requirements into practical, adoptable processes and controls, so that data across Omnicell is accurate, trusted, and used in accordance with applicable law and internal policy. What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities) As a Manager, Data Governance, you will: Primary Impact – Make data across Omnicell accurate, trusted, and used in accordance with applicable law and internal policy, so that business, analytics, and research teams can move quickly on a foundation they can rely on. Standards and policy – Develop, implement, and maintain Omnicell ’s data governance standards, policies, and procedures across the data lifecycle, aligned with business objectives and applicable regulatory requirements Operational adoption – Translate governance requirements into practical processes and controls that operational teams can readily adopt Data use program – Establish a formal data use program that defines how data may be accessed, used, and shared, with clear quality standards, approval workflows, and accountability Data quality management – Define, monitor, and report on data quality standards, metrics, and KPIs — such as accuracy, completeness, and consistency — and partner with data owners and stewards to identify root causes and drive remediation HIPAA de-identification – Design and operate a de-identification program that co
