Role Overview We are looking for experienced DBA support following the departure of their internal DBA. The role provides hands-on administration for a mixed estate of legacy and modern databases spanning Oracle and SQL Server, running across a hybrid environment - cloud (primarily Azure) and on-premise. The estate grew through acquisitions, so it is fragmented, has little existing documentation, and currently lacks modern tooling and monitoring. The right person can investigate an unfamiliar environment and get to grips with it quickly. This is a flexible, remote service engagement rather than a full-time permanent seat.
