Design Engineer

Your role at Kanadevia Inova directly contributes to turning something once considered useless - waste - into something invaluable: energy, heat, hydrogen, fertilizer, and beyond. Owns and delivers mechanical design packages for assigned systems, including 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation. Ensures designs meet project requirements, schedules, quality standards, and company engineering guidelines. Collaborates with layout planning, procurement, and suppliers to support equipment sourcing, technical evaluations, and contract execution. Oversees supplier manufacturing progress, quality inspections, and provides assembly and operational documentation. Drives continuous improvement, maintains product standards and design manuals, supports product development, and contributes to engineering knowledge sharing. Mechanical Design Engineer qualification with 4+ years of experience; Technician/Bachelor degree is an advantage. Experience in project engineering, supplier management, and procurement of technical equipment in an international environment. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to lead technical discussions, and develop engineering standards and specifications. Good knowledge of mechanical design, sheet metal and welded structures, materials, manufacturing processes, strength calculations, and FEM analysis. Fluent English; knowledge of machinery directives, occupational safety regulations, and plant/apparatus engineering is a plus.
