How You’ll Contribute: The Senior Design Engineer (DE) is a key member of the Design Engineering group within the Electronic Security Systems (ESS) team, serving as lead engineer on commercial design projects. The DE supports the entire project lifecycle—from initial sales concepts through design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Acting as a technical resource, the DE ensures client and system requirements are met and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The role is supported by Solutions Architects and the Director of Engineering, with guidance provided by the Director of ESS Engineering. The DE will hold both primary and supporting responsibilities on complex ESS projects and reports directly to the Director of ESS Engineering. What You’ll Do: Contributor for complex engagements and works directly with clients and the Design Engineering team to develop specifications, designs, budgets, timelines and manage expectations. Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements. Strong Project Engineering (technical project management skills) background and the ability to manage various projects in multi-region. Support and Lead projects in drafting/modeling of the security floor layouts
