Director, Technical Accounting

The Director of Technical Accounting will lead Radiology Partners ’ technical accounting function, ensuring accurate application of U.S. GAAP across complex and judgmental areas. This role will serve as a key advisor to the AVP, Financial Reporting & Accounting, CAO, CFO, and senior leadership on accounting implications of strategic initiatives, transactions, and emerging issues. This leader will build and oversee a high-performing team of three and play a critical role in strengthening accounting policies and driving consistency across the organization, while partnering closely with the Financial Reporting team. DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING - POSITION SUMMARY: Lead accounting analysis and conclusions for complex transactions (M&A, partnerships/JVs, debt/equity, compensation arrangements, leases, medical malpractice). Oversee preparation and review of accounting position papers and technical memos for audit and internal use. Partner with FP&A, Legal, Corporate Development, Financial Reporting and external parties on accounting considerations, diligence and implications of transactions.
