OVERVIEW The eDiscovery Data Management Specialist is responsible for managing operational and data governance activities throughout the eDiscovery matter lifecycle. This role oversees case closures and defensible data disposition processes, including chain-of-custody documentation, media handling, and the distribution of certificates of destruction. The specialist also performs routine platform and infrastructure maintenance, monitors storage utilization and capacity, enforces data retention policies, and coordinates the cleanup and archival of legacy data. Working closely with IT, project managers and technical teams, the role helps ensure the security, integrity, and regulatory compliance of eDiscovery environments while supporting efficient day-to-day operations.
