About the Role: Wiley ’s prestigious social science and humanities (SSH) portfolio is looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join the team in the role of Editor-in-Chief, Education. You will use your background in educational research, your knowledge of the publishing landscape, and your strong communication and global networking skills to drive the strategic development of one or more journals, raising the profile and visibility of those journal(s) in the community, and attracting new authors and content. The Editor-in-Chief will also be involved in the peer review process and decision-making of submitted manuscripts and ensuring adoption of best practices and highest ethical standards in publishing. How you will make an impact Leverage your international networks and knowledge of educational research, with desk research skills, to drive high-quality submissions in key subject areas to the Education portfolio. Strategically develop one or more journals, from scientific and publishing perspectives within the context of the broader Education portfolio. Establish and maintain a strong global network of researchers and practitioners who are the journals’ authors, peer reviewers and board members. Represent Wiley and the Education portfolio at conferences and through in-person and virtual outreach activities at universities and research institutes.
