Responsibilities: Independently performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives. Work is reviewed for the application of sound professional judgment. Responsible for preparation of feasibility studies, design of water, wastewater, sanitary, storm sewer, paving, and detention facilities Works well in a team-oriented environment Opportunity to work in and get exposure and experience in hydrologic and hydraulic model analyses, water and wastewater pipeline planning and modeling. Opportunity to learn Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience using design tools: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, XPSWMM, WaterGEMS, and WaterCAD, CAD and/or Civil 3D. Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PSE) ---Knowledge and experience with the full life cycle of public works/water resources projects from studies to environmental to PS&E or final design packages. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field Passed Fundamentals Exam (FE) ideally with Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate from state of Texas in hand.
