Reporting to the Manager, VDC, the Electrical BIM Specialist translates IREN 's corporate VDC standards into practical, discipline-level execution — interfacing directly with trade contractors, internal design teams, and external design firms on the details of VDC execution for the discipline, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and fed back into company-wide standards. Responsibilities Discipline Requirements & Workflows Establish and maintain the discipline-specific BIM requirements for electrical systems — including medium- and low-voltage power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, busway, cable tray, grounding, and lighting: modeling standards, level-of-development (LOD) expectations by project phase, content and family libraries, parameter and classification schemes, and model quality checklists. Define the discipline coordination workflow — how models are authored, exchanged, federated, clash-tested, and signed off — and document it in playbooks and templates that project teams and external partners can execute consistently. Review and continuously improve these requirements based on project feedback, working with the other discipline BIM Specialists to keep cross-discipli
