POSITION SUMMARY The Electrical Engineer II will design, wire, program, test, and troubleshoot custom equipment used in the manufacturing of company products. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, document, and implement complex machine control systems - Troubleshoot and repair complex machine control systems - Verify safe reliable machine operation and initiate corrective action - Evaluate and source cost effective replacement parts - Create and edit programs for PLCs, HMIs, and Motion Controllers - Estimate cost and completion date for assigned project(s) - Layout and wire complex panels, controls, and machine control systems - Analyze and recommend improvements to equipment - Complete assigned projects independently - Handle confidential information on a regular basis - Provide technical guidance to Electrical Engineer I and Electrical Technician I - Perform other duties as directed by the Machine Engineering Supervisor and/or the Lead Electrical Engineer QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma with a minimum of 15 years; or BSEE or B
