ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, LAUNCH INFRASTRUCTURE (STARSHIP) As a member of the Starship Launch Engineering team, you will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure that will enable orbital launch capability for the largest rocket in the world. This position is based at Cape Canaveral, FL. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the electrical project team, consulting engineers and contractors throughout the entirety of the electrical engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process. Work directly with internal and external customers to determine electrical requirements/needs and wants. Assist in the development of drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects. Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out. Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time. Coordinate with the electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure. Provide support and direction to electricians and technicians during the construction and activation of power distribution equipment. Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. 2+ years of experience in the design or build of building infrastructure electrical systems. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Primary experience with electrical and power distribution systems (<600Vac). Understanding of medium voltage system design and construction. Working knowledge of switchgear, motor control centers
