Accenture Federal Services is seeking Electrical / Wire Harness Design Engineers for an up-conversion team on a modernization program for a major aerospace & defense manufacturer. The role performs the core electrical conversion work: turning legacy 2D wiring diagrams, schematics, and harness or cable drawings into structured, model-based electrical definitions in Zuken E3.series, then releasing them into the client's PLM system. The work : Build electrical definitions in E 3.series : wiring diagrams and cable or harness models with connectors, connection lines, conductors, signals, splices, and shields carrying the right attributes. Ensure connectivity is correct: lines land on the correct pins with conductors assigned, signal names carry end to end, and connector, cable, and shield attributes are complete. Maintain a clean, well-structured device tree, with components grouped into assemblies, correct part-number attribution, and no stray items. Reconcile the E3 BOM with the PLM BOM. Account for interfacing electrical structure during conversion, support obsolescence review, and provide process and template improvements to the technical lead.
