The International Energy Agency (IEA) is an intergovernmental organisation committed to advancing security of energy supply, economic growth and environmental sustainability through energy policy co-operation. The IEA operates as an autonomous body within the framework of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The IEA seeks to recruit Electricity Grids and Security Analysts to contribute to its analytical work on grids and electrification in the Electricity Systems and Markets Division (ESM). The Electricity Gris and Security Analysts will support the Division’s work on electricity security, with a particular focus on transmission and distribution system modernisation. This includes to analyse and model power systems from physical and technoeconomic perspectives, and to draft grid-focused projects. Main Responsibilities Modelling, analysis and drafting Lead the Division’s technical, analytical and modelling work on power systems, grid modernisation (transmission and distribution), and electricity security. Lead analytical work on the system integration of emerging sources of electricity demand and generation, with a focus on operational secur
