Category: Energy and Utilities Location: Job Title: Energy Assessor Rate: 12AUD/hour (Negotiable) Type: Part time (30 hours per week to start), but will eventually be increased to full time depending on performance Job Overview: Assess newbuildings and renovations for thermal performance to meet building complianceas required by the National Construction Code (NCC), National Home EnergyRating Scheme (NatHERS) and BASIX. Identifying cost effective solutions andproviding improved performance solutions to meet and exceed compliance asrequired. Providing a high level of customer service at all times ensuring theassessments, the advice and certified documentation is delivered in a timelyand accurate manner. Responsibilities and Duties: ·Conductnew assessments using accredited NatHERS Software ·Keepabreast of regulatory and industry changes and requirements. Ensure to allassessments are conducted within the current rules and regulations. ·Undergoongoing training and maintain proficiency in all Accredited NatHERS approvedsoftware as and when required. ·Conductquality assurance reviews of contracted and company employee assessors’assessments and your own assessments. Accredit the work to meet compliance.Ensuring that all assessments will satisfy an external audit, if required, tothe best of your ability. ·Discussassessment results and offer professional advice with clients by phone, byvideo conference or face to face as required from time to time, commensuratewith your ability. Always ensuring that you represent the company at thehighest level. ·ConductBASIX assessment and certification of projects as required from time to time. ·Conductadditional regulatory assessments commensurate to your abilities as requiredfrom time to time.
