Engineer - Field Services Site In-charge
Key missions of the position: Field Service Site Engineer - AMC is responsible for managing Maintenance contracts at designated railway sites with a focus on achieving execution targets, safety of man & Machines, deliver contractual commitments, Customer satisfaction, ensuring reliability of the product & services in strong co-ordination with team & customer. Main responsibilities: Manage & execute Maintenance contracts of the designated site ensuing timely service delivery, delivering contractual commitments and compliance with safety and quality standards. Resolve customer issues with strong collaboration and ensure customer satisfaction. Spares & inventory management. Ensure feedback of field experience at all stages to improve reliability of the products Periodic reporting of the open points of Customer and follow up till the action is closed Manage and execute technical warranty activities including fault diagnosis, component replacement and Customer NCR closure Support during the commissioning of the Product/System on train and Locomotive and Support field validation and endurance trials of new components and retrofits. If any in his location Train and guide site technicians on AMC procedures, documentation, and technical updates. Maintain safety, regulatory and contract related documentation at site for audits & renewals. Ensure adherence to Wabtec safety standards, promote a safety-first culture across the team Own Payment collection in coordination with commercial team Education/Training Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Professional Experience 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in railway field with team handling. Key Competences (Transversal/Professional) Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills Strong analytical skills, Flexible attitude to work in changing environment Ready to travel if required IT literate and fully conversant with all Microsoft Office applications Should have a good technic
