Engineering Coordinator - Java

What you will do: Coordinate backend engineering teams responsible for platforms that serve multiple countries, ensuring scalable, reliable and high-quality deliveries; Drive execution and delivery across pods (squads), ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines; Act as a facilitator for agile ceremonies, removing impediments and improving team flow and predictability; Partner closely with Product, Architecture and other engineering teams to define and evolve solutions; Support developers' career growth through regular feedback, performance evaluations and development plans. Promote engineering excellence, ensuring adoption of best practices in software design, observability, and reliability; Hands-on with monitoring, code review, configuration tasks and deploy. Support and guide the team on technical decisions when needed, being a strong partner for senior engineers; Ensure systems are designed for scale, resiliency and performance in a distributed microservices environment; Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement and DevOps mindset; We are looking for people with: University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields; Previous experience leading backend engineering teams; Strong experience with Java ecosystem and backend development; Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices architectures ; Hands-on experience with container orc
