Engineering Lead (Resident Status)

E & P ACTIVITIES The Service Holder shall: •Ensure the safe design of Offshore Facilities in accordance with Company requirements, project specifications and applicable international standards. •Coordinate and supervise all safety engineering activities performed by EPC Contractors and specialized Consultants. •Ensure timely review, consolidation of comments and approval of safety engineering deliverables. •Verify compliance of contractor studies and recommendations with project requirements and Company standards. •Promote Safety-in-Design principles throughout all project phases. •Identify, assess and support resolution of safety-related technical issues. •Maintain the Safety Action Register and ensure close-out of recommendations arising from safety studies and reviews. •Participate in technical reviews and technical assurance activities. Risk Assessment and Safety Studies •Coordinate, review and approve all project safety studies and risk assessments. •Ensure execution and follow-up of: o HAZID Workshops; o HAZOP Studies; o SIMOPS Assessments; o Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA); o Fire and Explosion Risk Assessments; •Fire & Gas Detection Studies; •Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analyses (EERA); •Dropped Object Studies; •Bow-Tie Analyses; •SIL Assessments and Functional Safety Reviews; •Technological Risk Assessments (TRA); •ALARP Demonstrations. •Ensure implementation of recommendations resulting from safety reviews. •Support development and maintenance of Major Accident Hazard Registers. •Ensure identification and management of Safety Critical Elements and associated Performance Standards. •Review design modifications and assess their impact on project risk profile. •Coordinate management of technical deviations, concessions and change requests affecting all packages related to safety design.
