The Opportunity The Engineering Manager is a hands-on, player-coach leadership role. You are embedded with your team - daily standup, code review, architectural calls, delivery planning, and performance management - and you own both the team's output and the team's growth. This is a genuinely technical & leadership role. You are expected to write and review code, be a credible voice in architectural decisions, and stay current in your team's stack. You lead by demonstrating you can do the work at the highest level, not by title alone. The balance between hands-on contribution and leadership depends on the team's context, but your overarching mandate is the same: run the team, execute and deliver, and grow its impact.
