The AppCore team sits at the heart of Mollie's Merchant Experience domain, owning the foundations that every other engineering team builds on — the mobile app, the web portal, and all the surfaces where merchants onboard, manage payments, and access Mollie's services. When AppCore works well, every team at Mollie moves faster. As a hands-on Engineering Manager, you'll lead a small but growing team of skilled engineers, defining and delivering the technical roadmap for our core application platform. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, help shape the direction of our mobile and web foundations, and represent engineering in key technical discussions. Your work will directly influence how hundreds of engineers across Mollie build, test, and ship — making this a role with real visibility and long-term impact. What you'll be doing: - Lead and grow a team of frontend and mobile engineers, bringing a hands-on leadership approach and staying close to the technical work - Drive the architectural direction of the mobile app and web portal, with a focus on scalability, long-term maintainability, and developer experience - Own and improve the app release process, accelerating release cadence and reducing friction across build, deployment, and release coordination - Champion engineering excellence across the platform — raising the bar for testing, automation, localisa
