The ideal Engineering Manager candidate will be able to: Mentor and grow engineers of all levels, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Bridge the gap between company needs and team execution by maintaining and updating the tools, talents, and skills the team needs to drive future studio-wide engineering growth. Maintain the ability to contribute high-quality code as an individual contributor on assigned projects. Roles and Responsibilities: 🛠️🧪✨ Champion code quality by setting engineering standards and, along with the Technical Leads, performing insightful code reviews that serve as teaching moments for the team. Manage and mentor a team of engineers, conducting regular 1:1s to provide them with actionable feedback, actionable feedback to promote career progression, and performance management, while escalating concerns and blockers to Service Director, as necessary.
