GENERAL FUNCTION: Work closely and effectively with Director of Enterprise Valuation performing independent business valuations to support credit and risk decisions. Provide research support across the bank related to industry analysis and valuation trends.Support CommercialCreditwith various portfolio projects. Performs a wide range of complex analytical, valuation, and financial modeling analysis to benefit credit underwriting of leveraged loans. Requires highly skilled quantitative, analytical, andcommunication skills. Requires the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to build effective and easy to understand financial models. Ability to managemultipleprojects independently and ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team. Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with members of the deal team and collaborate with partners throughout the bank. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Use S&P Capital IQ to perform relative valuation analysis withguideline public companies and precedent M&A transactions. Calculate enterprise value using discounted cash flow (DCF) model. Requires assessment of projected performance, discount rate (WACC), terminal growth rate, and other assumptions.
