The Epic Applications Analyst role involves implementing, developing, and maintaining the Epic system and associated third-party systems. Analysts work at various levels, from entry-level (I) to expert (IV), with increasing responsibilities and independence. They provide on-call support, interact with clients, and ensure compliance with software lifecycle standards. As they progress, they gain deeper knowledge of the Epic platform, mentor junior analysts, and lead projects to improve patient safety and quality initiatives.
