Epic HB / PB Analyst

Epic HB / PB Analyst Schedule: Day Shift. 40 hours weekly. 8:00am – 5:00pm Type additional details specific to position and/or department. About the Position Responsible for design, analysis, testing, installation, and support activities for Epic related information system solutions as required that are developed or acquired as part of the overall hospital network of integrated computer systems. Incumbents must be able to help and consultation to enterprise departments, with system application issues, and serve as technical coordinator between departments and any outside vendors. Indepth knowledge of Epic software is obtained by attending Epic training with completion of application certification projects and tests. Training may be onsite at Verona, Wisconsin or virtually from the office. Overview of Responsibilities Completes assigned Epic certifications, training, projects, and testing. Works closely with our other EHR Certified Analysts for assigned applications. Completes Epic related tasks assigned by supervisor. Provides technical subject matter expertise and business process knowledge to project teams analyzing systemic or process issues within assigned areas. Provides input on alternative solutions ensuring the project team is fully educated on required effort, technical constraints, and impacts to existing system stability. Assists departments / project teams in defining requirements for new systems. Assists project manager in development of project plans focusing on technical work requirements and effort. Participates in vendor selection process including demonstrations and functional comparison activities. Completes appropriate departmental pre-purchase checklists and documentation. Provides input into contract / statement of work for new systems / functionality in supported areas. Provides input to design team in development of updated process diagrams, screen layouts, and any other elements of the design as defined by the project team. Writes design spe
