This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient refresh of desktop and laptop devices for hospital staff within a complex and demanding hospital environment. You will be working on-site within a busy and dynamic hospital environment, directly with end-users, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills alongside technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: Deployment and Configuration: Deploying and configuring new desktop and laptop devices (hardware and software) according to established standards and procedures. This includes imaging, software installation and peripheral setup. Hardware and Software Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on end-user devices, escalating complex problems to senior engineers as needed. End-User Support: Providing friendly and professional on-site support to hospital staff during the refresh process. Asset Management: Accurately recording and tracking hardware assets throughout the refresh process, ensuring proper disposal of old equipment. Collaboration: Working closely with other IT teams and hospital staff to coordinate refresh activities and minimize disruption to clinical operations. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including hardware and software configurations, troubleshooting steps, and user interactions. Adherence to Policies: Following all relevant company policies and procedures, including data security and confidentiality guidelines.
